Welcome Home. I’m So Glad You’re Here.

Supporting individuals and organizations with therapeutic, trauma-informed coaching and tailored workshops, grounded in somatic practices that nurture post-traumatic growth, well-being, and the journey home to one’s innate self.

At the heart of this work is Abri’s belief that there is nothing to fix within us. The more we become our own friend, and learn to identify and cultivate the supports and conditions we need, the more aligned and present we can become.

About Abri :

Abri is a somatic psychotherapist with advanced studies in nervous system regulation and the neurobiology of trauma with the Trauma Research Foundation. She brings a unique background as a former associate at New Theory Ventures, a venture fund supporting women-led, mission-driven companies, and as Gloria Steinem’s assistant. A long-time participant in somatic coaching and therapy herself, Abri believes we can only meet others as far as we’ve met ourselves.

She also finds grounding through music - singing and playing guitar - and in the joyful companionship of her dog, Moo, who now proudly serves as her assistant.

- Susan Illman, Director of Workplace Well-being and Culture at The International Well Building Institute

“There's an alchemy that happens when working with Abri, unlike anything I've experienced with other therapists. As a highly sensitive person newly diagnosed with chronic illness, Abri has been an invaluable support as I learn to navigate uncertain terrain. It feels deeply nourishing to learn about myself, while also feeling the beautiful energy of her support. Not only does she bring insight, depth, and curiosity to each session, she brings enthusiasm. What a gift! Abri is leading me into a deeper experience of my life, which is exactly what I've been looking for.”

“I can’t recommend Abri enough! She not only has a genuine and approachable demeanor but also explains her work in ways that deeply resonate with someone unfamiliar with somatic psychotherapy and related therapies. I’ve gained a richer understanding of myself and developed different ways to interpret and articulate my feelings and experiences.”

“At the very heart of ‘belonging’ is the word ‘long.’ To be-long to something is to stay with it for the long haul. It is an active choice we make to a relationship, to a place, to our body, to a life because we value it. Even knowing that it may not be all that we hope it to be, we are keeping the long view of what is possible, and our life becomes an offering to making it so.”
